Internship and Retention Partnerships

Supporting the next generation of mental health professionals through clinical learning opportunities, mentorship, and workforce partnerships.

About Our Partnerships

Through grant-funded initiatives and partnerships with clinical sites, behavioral health organizations, and community partners, LTP works to support internship and mentorship opportunities that help strengthen the pipeline of culturally and linguistically responsive mental health professionals in Colorado.

These partnerships aim to connect emerging professionals with meaningful learning experiences, professional guidance, and resources that support their educational and career development. When funding is available, LTP also works to provide financial support through internship and mentorship stipends, helping reduce barriers to participation and recognizing the time and commitment involved in clinical training and mentorship.

As we continue developing partnerships across Colorado, our goal is to expand access to supportive training environments, strengthen connections between educational institutions and clinical organizations, and invest in the next generation of mental health professionals.

Adams County — Internship & Mentorship Stipends

Through our grant partnership with Adams County, Latinx Therapist Project supported internship and mentorship opportunities aimed at strengthening the mental health workforce serving Spanish-speaking communities in Adams County.

This initiative included financial support through internship and mentorship stipends, helping support emerging mental health professionals and those contributing to their clinical learning and professional development.

By collaborating with clinical sites and community partners, LTP sought to create opportunities for practical experience, professional guidance, and stronger connections within the behavioral health field.

This initiative reflected our commitment to supporting the development of a culturally and linguistically responsive mental health workforce while recognizing the importance of mentorship, hands-on training, and financial support throughout the educational and professional journey.
