Adams County Behavioral Health Programs & Latinx Therapist Project Partnership Announcement

Latinx Therapist Project is partnering with Adams County to support nonprofit healthcare and behavioral health sites in recruiting and retaining Latino/Spanish-speaking clinicians. This initiative provides financial incentives, mentorship, professional development, and community-building opportunities to strengthen the Spanish-speaking behavioral health workforce in Adams County.

Program Benefits Include:

  • Recruitment Bonus: $5,000 sign-up bonus per clinician ($2,500 at hire, $2,500 after 6 months)
  • Retention Bonus: $5,000 after one year of employment
  • Mentorship Program: 1-year mentorship from experienced Spanish-speaking clinicians
  • Professional Development: 1-year cohort for continuing education and growth
  • Community Building: Wellness retreats and social connection programming
  • Internship Stipends: $5,000 stipends for Spanish-speaking student interns
  • $10,000 Scholarships: For current Spanish-speaking graduate students committing to work at Adams County sites post-graduation

Eligible Sites Must Be:

  • Located in Adams County
  • A nonprofit organization
  • In demonstrated need of a Spanish-speaking clinician or case manager
  • Able to participate in quarterly leadership meetings
